April 15, 2008
Everything around here is fine. Mom is reading. Jay is playing the computer. Dad is working and I am updating my blog. (very obvious, I know) Not a lot to say, but enough. I am doing very well on my school work. I took 3 test and did a well on all of them. In English I made a 96%; In Etymology I made a 93% and in biology I made a ?. Mom hasn't gotten around to grading it, but I am all most positive that is is a 100%. I have one more PACE left in English, two more left in Etymology, and three more left in World Geography. For those of you who do not know what a PACE is just continue reading as I explain. ACE is the curriculum that I use for school. (I'm home schooled) ACE's schoolwork is done in a PACE. Which is a small booklet of about 28- 45 pages. Depending on the subject. You have 12 PACEs in each subject per school year. It takes about two - three weeks to finish one PACE. For every PACE you also have a test. This may or may not be a good explanation. If you have any questions just leave it on my comment. It won't show up because I like to look at the comments before I allow them to be posted on my blog, but I do see the comments. Anyways that's off the subject. I am going to try to finish my English and Etymology by the end of this month. I should be able to do that. After I get them out of the way I am hitting it hard with World Geography and Biology. I really don't care for those subjects, but I am getting sick of school. I am so ready for summer!!!
We are almost done building our church! I am so happy! We have gotten the concrete poured and the carpet people should be done by the end of this week beginning of next. Isn't that wonderful?! Our Youth Revival is coming up soon. I think Mom, Meg, and I have almost all of the details worked out. Now if we can just get some people to say they are coming and wouldn't mind helping, would be great. I am sure everything will fall in place, but I am so excited. I think it has be come one of our most popular conversations to have around the house. I must go and practice my piano. My recital piece isn't quite perfect. : ) Later!
